Kickass show inexplicably organized
Some Lafayette music venue owners seem to be having it rough these days. (Those that are still operating, that is.) Same goes for those kickass bands that were forced into early retirement as a result of the aforementioned or distance or over-saturation or lives or whatever. Who would you call if Marvel reject Teddy Slane were to leave the bush and suddenly jump into a plush rampage? (And, no — not a rampage in the luxurious, blue-blooded sense.) Duh. Call the Tartar Martyrs, equally dubious but far more capable superheroes who trump Slane for obvious (read: not-so-obvious) reasons. BFF and BDE (best designer ever?) Burton Durand created the characters for the most recent update of The Superest, an online battle of epic proportions. Except by “of epic proportions,” I mean “between sketches by capable, artistic people who clearly own Wacom tablets.”
Person uploads video to Internet
Quality proponent Samuel Miller recently uploaded a few ack to school / Samuel Films productions to Vimeo, a Web site on the Internet. Among them, the premiere episode of ATS Houses. (Episode 1 features Miller’s own Lafla domicile.) This is the best way to view ack to school productions outside of downloading 69-MB Quicktime files.
